 Little about myself: Born in Ukraine, in an over 600 year old city with many historic buildings, called by locals "Little Paris".  Drawing and painting started as a child, first teacher  was my father, who was a painter and restorer of centuries old historic buildings. Completed Chernovtsy Art School, received BA in furniture design.  Moved with family to USA in 1988, since than live in California, first in south, now in northern California. My love for California - the places and the people - is what drives my art.

 My goal is to bring to attention and appreciation of everyone and make sure they notice California's many colors of life. Sacramento and surrounding area is truly unique to the world. It is the most diverse city in the nation. This splendor of our diversity as people of all races, ethnic groups, walks of life, and lifestyles is only natural for a place surrounded by the magically intertwining fusion of majestic Sierra Mountains, the boundless Pacific Ocean, the freedom-bound rolling rivers, the elegant orderliness of the wineries, and the wondrous chaos of the abundant flora and fauna. Where wild life isn't chased out by the futuristic architecture, where family living and single life are flourishing side by side, unaffected by the age, race, or status, where old, multigenerational traditions and new freshly-arrived spirit coexist, collaborate and co-create. These are the colors that paint this place and California, making sure everyone can see it's wonder that is why I choose to be painting in colors of life.
